About Saga Holidays

Saga started its journey from a small hotel in a seaside town in 1951. From here we’ve expanded around the world with your financial products and the world with your holidays and cruises, finally finding its way back to your doorstep with healthcare in 2009.

Saga is just a British company focused on serving the wants of the aged 50 and over. It’s 2.7 million customers. The organization operates from several sites on the Kent and Sussex coast: four in Folkestone at Middelburg Square, Enbrook Park, Cheriton Park and Ross Way; the fifth at the Eurokent Business park in Ramsgate, and the modern at Priory Square in Hastings.
In the 1990’s our first cruise ship, Saga Rose, enters service. The very first all-inclusive holidays in Europe are now actually offered, and we lower the age restriction for Saga customers from 60 to 50. Andrew Goodsell joined the organization and began building Saga Services into a financial powerhouse.
Saga is brought together with the AA under Acromas Holdings, alongside companies including BSM, Direct Choice, MetroMail, and Titan Travel. Saga Healthcare rapidly expands around the world, and in 2011 Saga Sapphire becomes the newest addition to the fleet of cruise ships.
